After several month of development the first faces of the building skin of the multi-family-house, In der Sommerau 15, Zurich have been installed. The responsible contractor Eleconstruct & Partner AG ( http://www.eleconstruct.ch/) has delivered very precise results up until now.

Die nuances in colour within the surface areas are due to angle variations within the specifically designed facade relief ( producer : http://www.alu-menziken.com/ ) to accentuate the wide range of reflections of light, colors and motives, as well as the permissable color differences defined by the SIA Norm for anodization, executed by AP Tobler AG  (http://www.aptobler.ch/), which formed a conscious part of the initial design idea.

Incidence of light, reflexion und effects of shadows cause a manifold impressions of the buildings skin due to the beholders perspective and subtly reflected context.
